Breaking News: Los Angeles Chargers Confirms The Signing Of Another Top Star

The Chargers made a couple of roster changes ahead of Sunday’s game.

First, they are promoting safety Tony Jefferson from the practice squad to the active roster. Jefferson will take Derwin James’ spot, who is serving a one-game suspension issued by the NFLPA earlier this week. To replace Jefferson on the practice squad, the Chargers are signing offensive lineman Braden Daniels.

Jefferson earned a spot on the Chargers’ initial 53-man roster after an impressive performance in their final preseason game against the Cowboys. As a veteran, he will bring valuable experience to the safety group in the absence of their leader this week.

Daniels, a 2023 fourth-round pick by the Commanders from Utah, was placed on injured reserve before his rookie season, causing him to miss the entire year. He was released in August of this year and later joined the Texans’ practice squad, only to be released by them on September 17th.
