ESPN REPORT: Steelers star now battling two injuries for the remainder of the season

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle has been dealing with two right arm injuries throughout the offseason and into the current season. He initially suffered an elbow injury early in training camp and had been wearing a large brace for both camp and the first two games of the season.

Jones often expressed frustration with the brace, saying it affected his punch power. Now that he’s switched to a smaller rubber pad on his elbow, he appears to have regained some of that strength.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Jones is also managing a wrist injury. He has been wearing a protective brace on his wrist and thumb for several weeks but switched to a lighter version on Sunday. This adjustment helped him recover some of his punch power and improve his performance, though he still has room for growth.

Jones will likely deal with these injuries for the remainder of the season and hopes to avoid aggravating them. With less restrictive equipment, his arm is feeling lighter, and his technique still needs significant improvement. The recovery of his arm could be a key factor in elevating his game to the next level.
