Breaking News: Packers Welcome Top Experienced Star Back from Terrible Injury

The hottest story of the week keeps evolving by the hour. Green Bay Packers quarterback returned to practice for the second consecutive time, this time in full pads.

That’s got to be a positive sign, right?

Both head coach Matt LaFleur and Love have expressed optimism about the veteran playing this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, but they are maintaining a cautious “day by day” stance for now.

He is recovering from a Grade 1 MCL sprain and seems to be progressing much faster than initially expected. Initially, the timeline for his recovery was set at 3-6 weeks, but now he might only miss one game in total.

According to a recent report from an NFL insider, things are looking promising for Love’s return against the Titans.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport mentioned, however, that Love won’t be at full health if he plays this Sunday.

“He’s not going to be 100 percent, that much is clear,” Rapoport said during the latest episode of  The Insiders Podcast.

Is there a risk if Jordan Love plays against the Titans?

Here’s where it gets interesting.

Fans are often concerned about their favorite players returning from injury too soon due to the risk of re-injury. But in this case, Rapoport stated that Love wouldn’t face further risk to his knee if he plays against Tennessee.

“He can’t injure it further because of the brace he’s wearing,” Rapoport explained.
