Five-star Jalen Haralson, the No. 14 ranked player in the class of 2025, tells 247Sports that he is nearing a decision and has postponed planned official trips to Kansas and Missouri.
Furthermore, the versatile 6-foot-7 perimeter player from La Porte (IN) La Lumiere announced that he will move his official visit to Purdue up to this weekend.
Haralson has already visited Indiana, Michigan State, and Notre Dame this fall, and he has previously visited Auburn on official business.
He doesn’t have a specific date yet, but Haralson said the decision would come sooner rather than later, and he expects to be ready to make a decision once he returns from his Purdue trip.
“I feel like whenever I have that gut feeling, I’ll know,” Haralson told 247Sports. “I’m getting close to making that decision, and I believe it will happen shortly. I don’t know the exact date yet, but I believe it will be shortly after I return from my Purdue visit.
Haralson, one of the most versatile perimeter players in the 2025 class, has consistently received five-star ratings throughout his high school career. He can run offense if necessary, is a deadly rim-attacking scorer, and can move up and down a defensive lineup due to his size and strength.
Haralson told 247Sports that he’s been focusing on his perfect fit with each school throughout his visits, and it appears that how he’ll be used once at a school will play a significant role in his selection.
