BREAKING: Cowboys Star Suffer Terrible Injury and Will Miss Saints On Sunday

The undefeated New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys are preparing for a Week 2 class in Texas. Both clubs are confident in their abilities following strong victory over divisional opponents in Week 1.

After Week 1, there were a few notable injuries to keep an eye on in New Orleans. Lucas Patrick, the starting guard, left with a toe injury. Willie Gay Jr. sustained injuries while playing linebacker. Marshon Lattimore and Tyrann Mathieu suffered injuries as well.

On Wednesday, the practice report provided an update on the injury condition for both teams at midweek.

Saints-Cowboys Wednesday Injury Report

Lattimore and Mathieu did not practice on Wednesday. Those two must be healthy against Dallas’ outstanding pass catchers. Dak Prescott recently became the highest-paid quarterback in football.

Jackson and Saunders did not play in Week One. I’d be astonished if they returned for week two.

Foster Moreau suffered a concussion in the season opener, but he has already returned to practice with a limited classification. That is a positive sign for his availability moving forward.

Tight end Jake Ferguson suffered a serious leg injury during the game this past weekend. However, his diagnosis was far more positive than predicted. He might play versus New Orleans.

Keep track of the status of all Cowboys players that were limited. Those are some noteworthy pieces, but many of them may be taking it easy in practice early in the week.

Their decisions on Friday will have a far greater impact on this Sunday’s NFC clash.

Overall, the Saints believe Mathieu and Lattimore can play through their injuries. Mathieu forced and recovered a fumble during Week 1. Stay tuned here for Saints news.
