Latest: Boston Bruins Confirm the Departure of Another Top Player

Kristian Kostadinski, a seventh-round pick by the Boston Bruins in the 2023 NHL Draft, is set to join the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League for the 2024-25 season, alongside fellow Bruins prospect Jonathan Morello. Kostadinski attended the Bruins’ rookie development camp in July, where he impressed with his size and physical play. On Thursday, he announced his commitment to Boston College, where he will play for the Eagles during the 2025-26 season.

Standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds, the defenseman spent the 2023-24 season with Frolunda HC in Sweden, tallying three goals and 18 assists in 43 games while serving as captain. Hailing from Goteborg, Sweden, Kostadinski is known for his impressive stature, precise passing from his own zone, and physical style of play. As a left-shot defenseman, he is a key prospect for the Bruins due to his notable size.
