BREAKING: Ohio State Football Confirm Return of Two Top Experienced Stars Back From Serious Injury

The Ohio State football team easily defeated Akron 52-6 in Week 1. The Buckeyes played well on defense throughout the game, but the offense took some time to get going. In any case, it was a convincing victory for the season’s first game.

Ohio State was able to pull out a significant win despite missing two starters. Linebacker Cody Simon missed the game, forcing Sonny Styles to play defensive signal-caller in his debut game as a linebacker. He did a nice job at it, though.

The Buckeyes were also without their finest offensive guard, Donovan Jackson. Jackson left the game with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Austin Siereveld. He performed admirably in Jackson’s absence, but the rest of the offensive line lacked quality.

The Ohio State Buckeyes received positive news regarding these players’ availability for the Western Michigan game. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that both players are available for tonight’s game. It’s unclear whether they’ll play together. That’s a game-time decision.

It would be wonderful to have both players back for this game. However, there is a good argument for holding both of them out of this game. They shouldn’t need one of them to defeat Western Michigan easily. The Buckeyes will also have a bye week next week.

This would allow both players an extra two weeks to recover from their ailments. That might be the greatest option for them. It would allow both players to ensure that they are fully prepared when they face more difficult opponents. I wouldn’t be surprised if both of them sat out tonight.
