Breaking News: FSU football lands commitment for another top talented star

Florida State issued a new scholarship offer to a defensive back recruit in the class of 2025.

That scholarship was awarded to a three-star cornerback recruit from Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss. He’s presently committed to the Utah Utes.
On paper, the offer appears to be average, but Jason Stokes Jr has a close connection to the FSU football program.

Florida State University has extended a new scholarship offer in the 2025 recruiting class to a prospect with a special connection to the Seminoles. The latest offer went out to a talented young player who happens to be the younger brother of a former Seminole standout, adding an intriguing layer to the recruitment.

FSU’s coaching staff has been active in scouting and offering top-tier talent for their 2025 class, and this new offer reflects their ongoing commitment to building a strong future for the program. The younger sibling, who has already made waves with his performances on the field, is following in the footsteps of his older brother, who left a significant mark during his time with the Seminoles.

The connection to a former player will certainly heighten interest in his recruitment. Florida State has a history of keeping it in the family, and this offer aligns with their tradition of valuing legacy connections within their program.

As the recruiting process unfolds, FSU will look to leverage the family ties and the storied history of the program to potentially secure this rising star. The Seminoles hope that the bond to the university, combined with the opportunity to continue the family legacy, will be persuasive factors in the young prospect’s decision-making process.

This offer highlights Florida State’s strategic approach to recruiting, where they not only seek out top talent but also consider the intangible factors that could help in landing key commitments. The Seminoles’ coaching staff will undoubtedly be closely monitoring this recruitment as they work to add more top prospects to their 2025 class.
