Texas Tech began the 2026 commitment class with a bang, signing four-star linebacker Tieson Ejiawoko out of Georgetown (TV) East View. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound junior confirmed his commitment to the Red Raiders on social media Friday night.
Ejiawoko accepted an offer from Texas Tech in January and recently attended a pool party event at Raiderland.
“It was great,” Ejiawoko told ITRR about his visit. “I really enjoyed spending the day with the coaching staff. They were quite hospitable, and I was impressed with their programs and facilities. Overall, I had a great experience in Lubbock and will probably attend a game this season.
“I was chatting a lot to Coach Bookbinder, just connecting and trying to create a friendship. The hospitality and amenities stood out. It’s an incredible thing to see and be a part of.”
247Sports ranks Ejiawoko as a three-star prospect, the country’s No. 23 linebacker, and the No. 39 overall recruit in Texas for the 2026 class. The 247Sports Composite, an average of various recruiting rankings agencies, ranks him as a four-star recruit, the No. 252 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 24 linebacker in the country, and the No. 37 overall player in the Lone Star State for the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Ejiawoko chose the Red Raiders over previously reported offers from Connecticut, Houston, North Texas, Oregon State, Washington State, and UNLV.
