LSU football has received a commitment from four-star safety CJ Jimcoily, who announced it on Thursday.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Jimcoily is the No. 32 safety and the No. 348 player in the nation from the Class of 2025, standing 6 feet-3 and 205 pounds.
He attends Lipscomb Academy in Nashville and is Tennessee’s No. 9 player. He is the first player from his state to commit to LSU’s 2025 class.
Jimcoily choose the Tigers over Alabama, Stanford, Tennessee, Michigan, Ole Miss, and others.
He is the Tigers’ third defensive back commit from the 2025 class, behind five-star cornerback DJ Pickett and three-star safety Jhase Thomas.
He is also the tenth defensive player to commit to LSU. The Tigers also have commitments from four-star edge rushers Damien Shanklin and LaJesse Harrold, four-star defensive lineman Zion Williams and Brandon Brown, four-star linebackers Charles Ross and Keylan Moses, and three-star linebacker Jaiden Braker.
Following Jimcoily’s commitment, LSU now has the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class.
