Breaking News: Alabama Football Star Suffers Another Serious Injury Setback

The player isn’t missing practice, but he’s also not at 100%.

The rookie cornerback wears a cast like a club on his left hand/wrist. Alabama football defensive coordinator Kane Wommack gave an injury update on Tuesday.

“He’s limited,” Wommack explained. “He’s currently on a pitch count. We expect him to be fully recovered within the next several days.”

Brown is one of numerous corners battling for playing time, as the top three corners from last season, Terrion Arnold, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Trey Amos, have all left. Brown started the A-Day game opposite Domani Jackson at cornerback, and he has received great feedback thus far.

“Zabien was so impressive to me coming right off the jump,” Wommack told the crowd. “To walk out of high school early as a mid year enrollee then to be able to play the way he has been playing from the spring time.”

Wommack is most impressed with how the former five-star cornerback reacts when he makes a mistake.

“He gets it corrected and I can’t think of a time I saw him make the next mistake again, that same mistake” replied Wommack. “It’s been impressive the level he’s been able to do with that.”
