East Carolina Men’s Basketball officially announced the signing of forward Reid Cason this morning.
Last year as a senior at Kingston High School, the Kingston, Oklahoma native averaged a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds a game, as well as four assists and three blocks. Cason was named Lake Country All-Conference all four years, Defensive Player of the Year twice, and had over 1,000 career points and rebounds at Kingston.
“We are thrilled to announce Reid Cason as the newest addition to the Pirate family,” head coach Michael Schwartz stated. “He is a well-rounded student-athlete who values hard effort on and off the court. Reid, 6’10, is a skilled and versatile forward who can play both in the post and on the perimeter. He is a natural match for both our offensive and defensive systems.
Cason also made the New Year Classic All-Tournament Team three times and the Wampus Cat Classic All-Tournament Team twice.
