Thomas is the 16th athlete to commit to LSU’s 2025 class, and the only defensive back. The Tigers received a commitment from four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine, Louisiana’s No. 2 recruit, but he backed out in June.

Antoine plans to reveal his next commitment on July 20. LSU is one of the finalists, along with Miami and Florida State.

Prior to Thomas’ commitment, LSU had the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class, trailing only Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Georgia, and Oregon.
