Breaking: Florida Gators Transfer Lands Commitment With Rivals

Florida State offensive lineman commit mocks the Florida Gators.

Florida State has had great success on the football field against its arch rivals, the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida Gators, winning the state championship in the last two years.

While the Seminoles may not have a higher recruiting ranking than their opponents, they have demonstrated the ability to showcase their on-field product. Florida State has a total record of 23-4 during the last two seasons. It’s impossible to disagree with success, but Miami and Florida football fans continue to spout out after the Hurricanes finished 7-6 and the Gators finished 5-7.

Both of these programs are not worth discussing with the state’s kings. Speaking of the Gators, they already have an uphill struggle during the 2024 season, with the month of November being particularly difficult. Billy Napier, the head football coach, will be lucky if he isn’t fired by late October.

Overall, the Gators received no pledges on July 4th, although the Seminoles and Hurricanes did. To make matters worse, four-star interior offensive lineman commit Peyton Joseph of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, teased Florida with a “5-7” record joke.

Joseph decommitted from the Florida Gators in April and immediately received crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State. It helped because he had a familial connection to current offensive lineman TJ Ferguson, as well as a friendship with offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins.

Furthermore, it is not guaranteed that Florida’s coaching staff will be intact at the end of the 2024 season. The Gators’ fandom is becoming a little irritated since Joseph mentioned the 5-7 record from a year ago, when some people said that the excellent offensive lineman was discarded from the Gators’ recruiting class.

Joseph disregarded the troll attempts by claiming that Florida State was now his home. I’m thrilled to have him and five-star inside offensive tackle Solomon Thomas in the mix. On August 12th, the Seminoles hope to secure the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Josh Petty.
