Texas Tech utility player and First-Team All-Big 12 honoree, has transferred to Arkansas to join Head Coach Courtney Deifel and the Razorbacks.
Kailey Wyckoff excelled during the two seasons with Red Raiders in Lubbock. She earned Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-America honors in 2023, and in her second season, she hit .407 with 12 doubles, seven home runs, and a career-high 35 RBIs, securing First-Team All-Big 12 recognition. Her .407 batting average was the highest on the team, and her .662 slugging percentage was second.
Wyckoff led the team with 15 multi-hit games and had a 24-game streak of reaching base. During her sophomore year, she played multiple positions, including catcher, first base, left field, and right field, appearing in 50 games with 49 starts.
The Katy, Texas native made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2023, becoming only the second Texas Tech player to win a conference award and earning Second-Team All-Big 12 honors. She ended her first season with a .393 batting average and a .740 slugging percentage, recording 17 doubles, nine home runs, and five triples. She drove in 31 runs and achieved 14 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games.
Wyckoff attended Katy High School, where she was part of the 6A Texas State Championship team in 2019. She earned all-state honors in 2019 and was named District 19-6A Most Valuable Player in 2021. In her senior year, she hit .491 with 16 doubles, eight triples, and six home runs. Her softball team was the 6A Regional Finalist in 2021 and 2022, the same years her volleyball team also finished as the 6A Regional Finalist.
