Victor Sanchez Hernandez, a three-star recruit from Kamiak High School in Washington, committed to the Huskies after an official visit last weekend. Victor Sanchez-Hernandez received an offer last weekend after attending the Huskies camp (where he shined). Sanchez Hernandez, ranked as the 113th best edge in the 2025 class, has excellent tools and size (6’5″ and roughly 230 pounds). Sanchez Hernandez was a top Taekwondo youngster in the country, but he has recently begun to devote more attention to football. The Huskies defeated Boise State, Oregon State, and Utah.
After some time thinking I’m excited to announce that I will be committing to my home town school, The University Of Washington☔️! Thank you to all the staff that believes in me! #GODAWGS @BrandonHuffman @CoachJeddFisch @CoachMaccKamiak @MohrRecruiting @HeraldNetPreps pic.twitter.com/kcow6fsIcv

The Huskies were seeking to add another edge to team up with existing commit Devin Hyde, and bringing in Sanchez Hernandez will ensure they have a solid combo to frighten the B1G. Sanchez Hernandez is the eighth commit to the 2025 class and the first of what promises to be a busy few weeks on the recruiting path.
