Breaking: Louisville make offer to commit another top talented star

The star has excelled at the NBPA Top 100 camp in Orlando; Louisville offered him after a great day.

ORLANDO – University of Louisville basketball coach Pat Kelsey and two assistant coaches attended the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp at Walt Disney World’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The University of Louisville faculty is tracking roughly a dozen goals for the Class of 2025.

And while at the event, the Cardinals discovered a new target.

London Jemison, an Oakdale, Connecticut, St. Thomas More forward, played two of his three games in front of a University of Louisville coach on Tuesday and was later offered a scholarship.

Kelsey, along with assistant coaches Ronnie Hamilton and Thomas Carr, saw him on the court.
Jemison’s team lost all three games, although he had a strong performance in the middle session, scoring 11 points, four steals, three rebounds, and three assists. Jemison only scored three points in the final game, but he also had seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Two weeks ago, 247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi said of Jemison: “Another guy who has had an impressive spring and is angling for a bump in the rankings.” At 6-foot-8, he’s a tall and rangy forward who is most likely a natural four-man but appears to be capable of playing long stretches on the wing.

Jemison plays for Expressions on the Nike EYBL circuit, and his profile has been rising, with offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Providence, and Xavier coming in May. He has now added Wake Forest and Penn State, for a total of 20.

Jemison is ranked No. 56 on 247Sports, the No. 2 player in Connecticut and the No. 14 small forward. He’s ranked 48th overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
