WKU Land Commitment for Another Talented Star

Another star will join WKU Soccer’s roster in 2024. Merritt is a transfer from North Texas and will begin her junior year in 2024.

“We are excited to add Mia Merritt to our roster for the upcoming season,” Neidell stated. “Mia is an athletic and quick center back with a high ceiling. Mia has a successful lineage and, with her expertise, she be able to start right away as a Hilltopper.

Merritt played defense for the Mean Green for two seasons. She appeared in over 30 games during that period, starting 11 of them.

The Austin, Texas native attended Lake Travis High School.
