UW football: Another Huskies Star Now Charged For Rape

University of Washington football player, was charged with two counts of felony rape and pleaded not guilty in court on Thursday.

Rogers was arrested on April 5 at Husky Stadium and booked into King County Jail after two women claimed he severely attacked them in October and November of last year. Both victims claim he messaged them on the dating app Tinder, asked them to come over, and then raped them alone inside.

According to the prosecution documents, “While the first victim was still reeling from her sexual assault, the defendant met the second victim at a Halloween party on Greek row at the University of Washington.”

The university is keeping a low-key approach to the ongoing investigation.

The new UW football coach stated, “I have no comment on what has happened in the past.” That has nothing to do with me.

However, Rogers’ former coach, Kalen DeBoer, gave the following statement to FOX 13 about the rape allegations:

“While I am unable to speak specifically on the incident involving an individual at my former school due to federal

privacy regulations and ongoing criminal investigations, I would like to emphasize that I take any allegation of

sexual misconduct extremely seriously. I have always followed and will continue to follow established institutional

policies and processes to ensure that allegations are reported promptly and handled properly by the right

authorities.”

Everyone is still questioning why the University of Wisconsin allowed Rogers to play in the Sugar Bowl and the College Football Playoff despite the fact that the first rape complaint was disclosed before these games.

We know Rogers did not go to the PAC-12 Championship on December 1.

Former offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb stated that it was due to “challenges he’s had off the field,” yet Rogers participated in the following two games.

FOX 13 has approached the university about all of this, and they have declined to speak further.

Tylin Rogers was arraigned and entered a plea in court at 8:30 a.m. The bail was set at $300,000.
