Loftin confirms OV plans with Nebraska.
Jayden Loftin’s rating is growing, and, most importantly for Nebraska fans, he has been scheduled for an official visit.
The edge defender from Sommerville, New Jersey, has stated that he will be in Lincoln as an official from June 14 to June 16.
Nebraska continues to attract official visitors on the weekends of June 14 and 21, exactly like the Husker staff desires.
Loftin has also risen in the 247Sports rankings, from a high three-star 88 to a four-star 90, following a recent live evaluation on the Under Armour Next Tour earlier this month. Loftin excelled in combine testing, earning a high performer ranking from 247Sports National Scouting Analyst Hudson Standish.
He wrote the following about Loftin’s performance a few weeks ago: “Loftin was a monster during 1-on-1s, terrifying some of the top offensive tackles in attendance with his combination of length and quickness. He has a quick first step and can use a variety of pass-rushing moves to get into the backfield.
Loftin’s reactionary athleticism shone during the Under Armour New Jersey Regional, as he won many times with an adjustment or second move after being halted by offensive tackles.”
