According to top Journalist Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is now…

Since hunting for a new manager, the Sunderland board has demonstrated a lack of transparency, with fans being kept in the dark about what is happening.

After watching Beale replace the extremely popular Tony Mowbray in December, some fans are skeptical of Kyril Louis-Dreyfus’ ability to make the next appointment correctly.

It’s particularly concerning that fans have been kept in the dark about this scenario, as journalist Michael Beale claims it’s a ‘huge issue’.

The journalist wrote on X: “For me, the fact that the club appears to believe they do not have to engage with fans is a major concern.

No one is asking for complete transparency on everything, but they either don’t understand the present sentiment among fans or don’t respect them enough to respond. Neither is good.

Graham and many others perceive a lack of respect from the Sunderland board, which adds to the pressure to get an appointment slot.

The Sunderland board has demonstrated a lack of organization and skill in this scenario.

Once Beale was freed of his duties, they should have had an excellent candidate in mind to take over, and waiting for Still to become available could have been a disastrous mistake.

The Black Cats are now in a similar position as other clubs seeking for a new manager, notably recently relegated Birmingham City and Championship rivals Norwich City and Hull.

Supporters did not want to see this situation play out because the longer this story goes on, the less likely Sunderland is to find the perfect candidate, with targets Paul Heckingbottom and Bo Svensson no longer available.

Regardless, the board’s recent dealings with managers, such as firing Mowbray for Beale, do not provide much hope.

Sunderland has a few weeks until the transfer window starts, so hopefully they can find a new manager by then.
