The Badgers will have a three-star cornerback on campus in June.
On June 14th, the Wisconsin football program will host a three-star cornerback for an official visit.
Charles “CJ” Bell, a Connecticut native, announced on social media that he had scheduled a visit with the UW.
According to the composite rankings, Bell is the No. 964 player in the country, the No. 80 CB, and the No. 11 player in Connecticut.
Bell currently has 14 scholarship offers, including from Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Iowa, Maryland, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and UConn.
The St. Thomas More Prep standout will have formal visits to Rutgers and Boston College before heading to Madison; he will then travel to Minnesota on June 21. He may be considered a Rutgers lean at this time, as he has made several unofficial visits to Piscataway.

Long, rangy, athletic cornerbacks are essential in Mike Tressel’s defensive philosophy. Bell fulfills those categories, standing 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and has quickness and ball abilities that, with additional development, may propel him to the next level of play.
Jai’mier Scott, a four-star cornerback, has committed to Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class. UW is likely to draft multiple cornerbacks again, after taking six defensive backs in the previous two cycles.
Rukeem Stroud, Mason Alexander, Corey Costner, and Tre Poteat are among Wisconsin football’s top remaining cornerback targets.
Wisconsin football has 11 commits for the 2025 cycle, ranking 17th in the country.
