The Blue Devils are getting a much-needed renovation to Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Cameron Indoor Stadium is one of sports’ most iconic venues, and the Duke basketball program is getting a much-needed renovation to its home building.
According to the news statement, the video board inside Cameron will be refurbished this summer into a “three-display centerhung configuration.”
“The new visual centerpiece will improve the game-day presentation with videos and statistics in the fall of 2024,” the statement went on to say. The new video board will have more than twice as many digital pixels as the previous one.
The Duke basketball social media channels presented a quick footage of what the new structure within Cameron would look like once it is completed.

“For us to be a part of this project at such a historic venue as Cameron Indoor Stadium is an honor,” Daktronics sales representative Corey Williams stated in a press release.
“To assist improve the game-day experience for fans while also working closely with our long-time partners at Duke is a very fulfilling endeavor. We’re looking forward to witnessing how the new centerhung enhances the already fantastic atmosphere.”
The old video board has already been removed from the arena.

There will also be new press row video boards, which will display more in-game statistics and allow Duke to promote sponsors throughout the game.
The additions to Cameron Indoor Stadium will only enhance to the excitement for next season, when the Blue Devils will welcome the nation’s top freshmen class, highlighted by top overall prospect Cooper Flagg.
Duke will also keep Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster on the roster, while acquiring Syracuse transfer Maliq Brown and Purdue transfer Mason Gillis.
It’s simply another step toward one of the most anticipated Duke basketball seasons in recent memory.
