Three-star safety. Sidney Walton has announced his commitment to Tennessee. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety hails from Moody, Alabama.
He chose the Volunteers over Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, and UAB.
Walton is ranked No. 423 overall and No. 34 safety in the 2025 class. According to the On3 industry rankings, he is Alabama’s No. 3 safety and No. 20 player.
Following Walton’s commitment, Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class is ranked 14th overall and eighth in the SEC. The Volunteers’ class included five-star quarterback George MacIntyre and four-star defensive tackle Ethan Utley.
He ended his junior season with 39 overall tackles, 28 pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
