Milan set to sign Real Madrid player who is pushing to leave club

Real Madrid could say goodbye to some of their present team members this summer as they prepare to bring in some high-quality new signings, led by Kylian Mbappe.

Dani Ceballos, an out-of-favour midfielder, appears to be on his way out at the end of the season.

The Spanish international signed a new deal with Real Madrid last summer, when he could have left for free, hoping to push for a position in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

However, due to injuries and competition for positions, Ceballos has only appeared in 21 matches this season (503 minutes).

As a result, Ceballos has decided to leave Real Madrid this summer, and it looks that the club will not stand in his way.

In reality, according to Fichajes, Real Madrid has set an asking price of €8 million for Ceballos in order to assist his escape during the summer transfer window.

It does seem surprising, given that Los Blancos had previously sold several of their youth players for a cost similar to that figure.

Ceballos, 27, is in his potential prime years and still has three years remaining on his deal. However, it appears that Los Blancos are willing to let him depart for a reduced fee in the summer.

According to reports, AC Milan is interested in signing the Spanish midfielder. The Rossoneri are looking for midfield reinforcements and have highlighted Ceballos as a potential candidate.

Closer to home, Real Betis, Ceballos’ boyhood club, has been linked with a move, as has Real Madrid’s archrival Atletico Madrid.

It remains to be seen how things play out in the following weeks, but it appears that Ceballos will be leaving this summer.
