According to reports, AC Milan is vying for the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna this summer, but Arsenal is also interested.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Arsenal sent a scout to Italy on Saturday evening, specifically to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, to observe Bologna’s match versus Monza and get a closer look at Zirkzee.
Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci made it clear what the club’s intentions are with the Dutch striker, stating: “We would like to keep everyone in red and blue, which is their colour.”
The former Bayern Munich striker, on the other hand, will be the most sought-after player in the summer transfer window, with numerous teams already lining up to sign him.
Milan has been on his trail for months, according to the article, and as Pietro Mazzara has revealed, while Juventus has recently joined the race.
Bologna will want to keep him, especially if they qualify for the next Champions League, but if an offer of €60 million comes in, they will ‘hardly be able to say no’.
