AC Milan could want Tottenham midfielder Pierre Emile Hojbjerg in the summer as they seek a’more experienced profile’ to add to their team.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a €18-20 million price tag appears reasonable for the midfielder as he prepares to leave Tottenham.
Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from Spurs for much of this season, having made few appearances under Ange Postecoglou, who has instead relied on Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma as his midfield two.
He has been rewarded for his faith, and as a result, Hojbjerg has mostly been on the outside looking in, prompting repeated reports that he wishes to leave.
Clubs from all across Europe have been touted as suitors, but Italy appears to have the most admirers, with AC Milan perhaps joining the list.
Gazzetta reports that the club intends to focus on a more experienced sort of player this summer to supplement a group packed of young potential, and Hojbjerg would certainly fit the bill.
They understand that Tottenham cannot demand a high sum for him because his contract expires in a year, which may be utilized to secure a move for €18-20 million.
It is unclear whether that is an agreeable figure for Milan, but they clearly like the Tottenham player and believe he fits the profile of what they are looking for.
