According to Football Transfers, AC Milan has selected Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville as a possible replacement for Rafael Leao.
Summerville has been one of Leeds United’s standout performances this season.
The Dutchman saw some success in the Premier League, but he has dominated the Championship.
Summerville, 22, has 18 goals and nine assists in 41 career games across all competitions.
His performances have been critical to the Whites’ hopes of securing automatic promotion under Daniel Farke, as they now sit third in the Championship rankings.
Summerville has been linked to a number of clubs as a result of his impressive performances.
However, new claims from Football Transfers have unexpectedly emerged.
Italian giants want Leeds United star
They believe that AC Milan is examining the Leeds United player as a potential Rafael Leao replacement.
PSG has identified the 24-year-old Portuguese youngster as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappe.
The Championship team is allegedly seeking a £45 million fee for Summerville.
On the other hand, it has been reported that Leao has a €175 million release clause that is only valid from July 5 to July 15 each year until 2028.
If AC Milan is actually interested, Summerville and Leeds United might be involved in a major transfer drama.
Leeds may get involved in the Mbappe transfer saga
After losing Mbappe, PSG may decide to pursue Leao, which could prompt Milan to act on their rumored feelings for the Whites star.
But, until then, the Whites must ensure that Summerville and they are both completely focused on the Championship promotion campaign.
If the Whites are to defeat either Leicester City or Ipswich Town in the race for the top two, the winger must be on top of his game.
