Josh Allen Makes His Feelings Clear With Management After Bills Trade Stefon Diggs

Josh Allen, a star pass rusher, liked a tweet on his X account that criticized the Jacksonville Jaguars top office. The message discussed the Buffalo Bills trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had a mild offseason

On paper, the Jaguars and Texans appear to be the best challengers for the AFC South crown in the coming years. However, the Texans have enjoyed a significantly better offseason. The Texans signed Danielle Hunter, Joe Mixon, and Diggs.
The Jaguars have arguably regressed. They missed out on re-signing Calvin Ridley, who left to join another AFC South foe, the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars’ best free agent signing was Arik Armstead, who will assist Allen on defense.

Josh Allen wasn’t impressed when the Buffalo Bills traded with Houston

Those moves do not appear to be enough for Allen. Allen liked Mr_Y_U_Mad’s Tweet, which complained about the Jaguars not going “for the kill” like the Texans did when they traded for Diggs:

“This is my frustration with the @Jaguars organization. We do not go for the kill. Houston saw what they had and was unconcerned about draft picks, money, or personnel. That applies to Tennessee as well. However, Houston has established themselves as the front-runners to defeat Kansas City. SCARED MONEY MAKES NO MONEY. We have the quarterback and the coach, but we also have a frightening ass general manager. Fix Cam”s deal, resign Josh and call MotherFing SAN FRAN!”

Allen is on the franchise tag for 2024

Allen’s grievances with the Jaguars extend beyond the Diggs trade. This offseason, the team issued the franchise tag to him after he had a spectacular 17.5 sack season. They don’t appear willing to offer Allen significant dollars to stay in Jacksonville. As previously indicated, they let Ridley depart following a successful 2023 season.

The Jaguars did add Gabe Davis, a former Bills wide receiver, to their roster in free agency. Davis wasn’t even the Bills’ No. 2 wide receiver, and the offense always seemed to lack depth to divert an opponent’s attention away from Diggs. That move probably didn’t excite Allen much.
