Mario Hermoso appears to be on his way to Serie A, as his contract with Atletico Madrid expires.
The defender is largely considered as one of Europe’s best players in his position, and he has expressed little desire to renew his contract with Atletico.
Despite conversations between the Madrid club and his representatives, they were unable to reach an agreement on a new contract.
With the season coming to an end, it is becoming increasingly evident that Hermoso wishes to leave the club, and Juventus is eager to obtain his services as soon as possible.
However, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also interested in signing the Spaniard.
According to Calciomercato, AC Milan is now leading the race to sign him.
AC Milan, aware of interest from Juventus and Inter, is pushing quickly to persuade Hermoso to join them and play for the Rossoneri instead.

Hermoso is a player we’ve been following for a while, and losing him to AC Milan makes no sense.
They are desperate to sign him, but we must prove that we are the best club in the country by winning the race.
