Breaking news: Milan now pushing to sign ‘fantastic’ midfielder

AC Milan has made fresh contact with Schalke 04 midfielder Assan Ouedraogo, who is receiving interest from many of Europe’s elite clubs.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan’s goal remains to find young players with plenty of talent who can develop with the club and maybe be sold for a large profit later on.

Ouedraogo certainly matches that description, as the 17-year-old has impressed everyone who has seen him and is poised for a successful career away from Schalke, who are now in the 2.Bundesliga.

Milan has been connected with the midfielder for two years and has lately contacted his representation to see whether a transfer is possible in the near future.

He has similarities with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has been a huge success in current Milan side.

His contract contains a release provision that will take effect this summer, although it is unclear what it is.

It will be difficult for any team to sign Ouedraogo because clubs like as Inter, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen are all interested. The alternative of staying in Germany may be more appealing to the German youth.
