Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld are currently in the “meet the family” stage of their relationship.
A video published this weekend shows the couple attending a gender reveal party for Josh’s sister, Nicala Madden, where they speculated on the gender of the new family member. The brief film sparked some curiosity online and follows another high-profile appearance earlier in March.
In the video, Allen and Steinfeld agreed on their forecasts for the new family member. Allen, who introduced himself as “the brother of the mother,” shared his guess for his new niece or nephew.

“It will be a boy,” he predicted.
“I’m kinda feeling like it’s gonna be a boy, too,” Steinfeld remarked.
Could Spending Quality Time Together This Offseason
Steinfeld and Allen were initially sighted together in May 2023, and they kept their romance quiet during the offseason. The actress was a regular at Bills games, frequently spotted cheering for her lover.
They’ve spent more time together throughout the offseason, including a trip to Fashion Week in Paris that drew some attention. A video from March 4 shows the couple entering Le Bristol Hotel, with Allen dashing ahead of Steinfeld as they exited the car.
Though the Bills quarterback received criticism for what some regarded as a harsh move, Allen later claimed that he had another reason for dashing past the photographers assembled to shoot the couple.

“My pants ripped at dinner 🙁🤣,” Allen wrote on X. “I didn’t want cheeks out…” “I love Paris. 😁”
Bills Quarterback Has Close Relationship With Sister
Allen has always had a good relationship with his siblings, who include sisters Nicala and Makenna and brother Jason. Their mother, LaVonne Allen, told the Casper Star-Tribune in 2017 that the four had always been a close-knit family.
“They’re the best of friends, and people see it,” LaVonne Allen said. “They ask, ‘What have you done with your family to make them so close?'” I said, ‘I don’t know. “We just support each other, and I wanted my children to do the same.”
Steinfeld has gotten closer to Allen’s family as well. According to People magazine, the actress was spotted out shopping with her boyfriend’s mother in a Buffalo suburb in October 2024.
The two purchased Bills merchandise at the Leveled Up Buffalo store in East Aurora, which the owner subsequently shared on her Instagram page.
Both Steinfeld’s parents later visited the same store before the team’s playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
A source close to the pair also told People magazine that family is very important to them, and that they have become even closer since the Bills’ season ended.
“They had always intended to spend more time together after his season finished. “Things have been going very well,” the person stated. “They’re both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to keep their relationship safe and discreet. “They’ve been on the same page with everything.”
