Last season, the Miami Dolphins’ receiving corps produced remarkable numbers, ranking 10th in receptions, 20th in targets, first in receiving yards, fourth in receiving touchdowns, and third in receiving first downs.
Miami had a hectic offseason and was unable to re-sign all wide receivers in free agency. Cedrick Wilson Jr. has signed with the New Orleans Saints, but Chase Claypool and Robbie Chosen remain free agents.
However, the team was able to extend Braxton Berrios, a fan favorite.
The Miami Dolphins re-signed a fan-favorite wide receiver.

Cracraft has become a fan favorite in Miami and is a highly underrated receiver when healthy.
River Cracraft bounced around with two teams in his first three seasons.
Cracraft went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft and signed with Denver’s practice squad on October 17. On October 20, the team released him, and on December 18, he re-signed with the practice squad. He did not appear in any regular-season games in 2017.
Cracraft appeared in eight games for Denver in 2018, totaling one reception on two targets for 44 yards, three kick returns for 43 yards, and 12 punt returns for 40 yards.
Denver dismissed Cracraft on September 1, resigned on September 11, then waived him on September 24. He appeared in one game for Denver but did not register any statistics in 2019.
On December 24, Philadelphia added him to the practice squad; on January 6, he signed a reserve/future contract; then on April 30, he was waived.
River Cracraft spent the next two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
On August 27, San Francisco signed Cracraft. Cracraft appeared in eight games in 2020, catching six passes on nine targets for 41 yards and returning five punts for 40 yards.
Cracraft was released by the San Francisco 49ers on August 24, but he was later re-signed to their practice squad. He appeared in six games in 2021 but did not gather any statistics. On January 29, the team waived him.
River Cracraft spent the last two seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
Miami signed Cracraft on February 17, waived him on August 30, re-signed him to the practice squad on September 1, and promoted him to the active roster on September 11. Cracraft appeared in 11 games in 2022, missing six due to a neck and calf injury, and recorded nine receptions on 14 targets for 102 yards and two touchdowns. He also recorded a 23-yard kick return in the Wild Card.
Cracraft re-signed with Miami on March 17. Cracraft appeared in ten games, starting once, in 2023, missing seven due to a shoulder injury. He concluded the season with nine catches on 12 targets for 121 yards and one touchdown.
In addition, he had two receptions on three targets for 33 yards in the Wild Card.
River Cracraft will compete for a roster spot next season.
Cracraft will need to earn a position on the roster next season. He will compete with Erik Ezukanma, Braxton Berrios, Braylon Sanders, Anthony Schwartz, Matthew Sexton, and any receivers signed during the offseason.
