Patrick Queen sends ‘terrible’ message to Ravens fans after signing with rivals

Patrick Queen didn’t hold back in his greeting to Ravens supporters after signing with the Steelers.

This offseason, numerous players signed deals with other teams, which has generated quite a stir among certain supporters. Patrick Queen, for example, left the Baltimore Ravens in free agency and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Apparently, some Baltimore fans irritated Queen to the point where he shouted out at them.

The veteran linebacker did not mince words. Patrick Queen slammed arrogant Ravens supporters for the messages they appear to be sending him. However, Queen concludes his statement by thanking those who support him, as not every fan is calling him out. But this is what he said.

“Honestly, bruh, you can stfu now. It’s not even that deep for us players until game week, and you don’t comprehend that it wasn’t up to me. I gave you everything I had, and now that it’s time for me to do what I need to do, you’re upset by everything I say. Go touch some grass to fill the gap in your life. To those who are still displaying love despite the transition, this is not for you.”

Some fans are overly loyal to their preferred team. We get it; you adore the team and its players. However, professional sports are a business.

When a player leaves through free agency, it is usually because the team has decided not to re-sign them. If more people understood this, Patrick Queen would not have needed to send such a heated message.

At the end of the day, Queen might simply mark the Ravens on her calendar once the season begins. He’ll want to silence the detractors in Baltimore and show the Steelers that they made the right move by signing him in free agency.

Patrick Queen adds remarkable steadiness to Pittsburgh’s front seven. He’s proved to be dependable and a beast on the ball. Expect him to continue playing at a high level now that he’s in Pittsburgh.
