The Baltimore Ravens are adding one of the NFL’s finest running backs to an already impressive roster. According to various sources, the Ravens have signed Pro Bowler Derrick Henry to a two-year contract.
The Ravens had a long-standing interest in Henry, and attempted to trade for him last season. However, they have finally signed their man to a respectable contract worth $16 million without giving up any draft compensation.
Henry will reportedly receive $9 million in guaranteed funds in 2024. He will also have the potential to increase his earnings through bonuses, and he may wind up making a total of $20 million over the next two years.

Derrick Henry spent his whole eight-year NFL career with the Tennessee Titans. He is recognized for his physical style of play and ability to handle more carries than other running backs. Since entering the league as a second-round pick in 2016, Henry has made four Pro Bowl appearances and led the NFL in rushing yards and touchdowns thrice.
Henry had a dismal year in 2023 by his standards, averaging 4.2 yards per run, his lowest since his sophomore year. Nonetheless, he managed to gallop for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns.
