Buffalo Bills keep DaQuan Jones for two more years
Buffalo Rumblings’ Matt Byham broke the news that the Bills and DaQuan Jones have agreed to new terms that would keep the Penn State alum playing for the Bills until he is 34 years old:

According to the tweet, Jones and Buffalo have agreed on a new two-year, $16 million contract. Additional information was currently unavailable.
Jones himself confirmed the news minutes after Cover 1’s tweet, saying a simple and effective “WE BACK!!!!! #GoBills”
Jones has been a major member of the Buffalo Bills’ defensive line, lining up against the finest offensive lines in the NFL whenever he is available.
While his 2023 season was cut short due to injury, his eight solo tackles and 2.5 sacks in only seven starts were more than enough to earn the former Tennessee Titan an extra year with the organization.

While Jones just played a few snaps for the Bills, it’s clear that he’s part of an effective engine that can damage opponent offenses. In 2023, the Bills sacked the opposing quarterback 54 times while only blitzing him 23.5% of the time.
The entire Bills defense also efficiently shut down opposition defenses. In 17 games, the Bills allowed just 5222 multipurpose yards and 32 total touchdowns. If the Bills can overcome their postseason flaws, there’s no reason they can’t be the overwhelming favorites to win Super Bowl LIX.
