AC Milan has inquired about the condition of Yusuf Yazici, whose contract with Lille expires in the summer. However, according to reports, the Rossoneri are likely to encounter competition for the youngster.
Yazici, Lille’s attacking midfielder, has 10 goals in all competitions this season. He has already scored more than he did last season (6) while on loan at Trabzonspor, attracting some interest.
According to RMC Sport, the 27-year-old is unlikely to renew his contract with Lille and could go for free in the summer. Milan and Napoli have previously inquired into the matter, and it remains to be seen whether they would make a concrete attempt.
Milan supporters may be familiar with the guy, since he scored a hat trick against the Rossoneri in the 2020-21 Europa League. It’s not the first time he’s been linked with the club, in other words, and now could be the right time to make it official.
A lot will likely depend on Milan’s managerial position and formation next season. Questions without answers for the time being, making it difficult for Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio to act quickly.
