AC Milan make shock transfer decision for 25-year-old

AC Milan has reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Lloyd Kelly, the soon-to-be free defender from Bournemouth. Milan had been one of the candidates for the player, battling with Juventus for his services.

Kelly is nearing the conclusion of his contract with Bournemouth and appears unlikely to stay longer. The defender has expressed happiness that he has been linked with moves to prominent Italian clubs, like Juventus and Milan. Milan, noted for having several English-speaking players, was considered a feasible choice for Kelly.

However, according to a report on Tuttomercatoweb, AC Milan has opted to withdraw from the hunt for Kelly’s signature and will instead focus on other targets. This development could give Juventus with an opportunity to sign one of England’s best defenders on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

This is a significant boost to Juventus’ summer ambitions because Kelly is an excellent player and defense to sign for free.

He will be an excellent substitute for Alex Sandro and may ask for less money than Mario Hermoso would.

We need to continue talking to his entourage and reach an arrangement before another club enters the race.

But he knows he won’t find a larger club than Juve in Italy, therefore we don’t anticipate him to join another Serie A team.
