Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer.
Steve Kay of Football Transfers reports that the Gunners are eager to trade the Ukraine international for €45 million (£38.5 million) after losing his first-team spot to Jakub Kiwior lately.
Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in the 27-year-old, seeing him as a potential replacement for Alphonso Davies, who is slated to join Real Madrid this summer.
According to Kay, Eddie Howe is looking to strengthen his defence this summer, with Dan Burn not a long-term solution at left-back, Matt Targett slated to leave, and Lewis Hall linked with a loan move after battling for playing time.

Zinchenko’s ability to play at left-back or in midfield may appeal to Newcastle, as Howe frequently emphasises the necessity of versatility in his squad.
He would also offer a wealth of knowledge from his time at Manchester City and Arsenal, and he has been hailed for his leadership off the pitch.
