Arda Guler’s future at Real Madrid is unclear, and according to SPORT, the Spanish club may loan him out to Italy in the summer.
The 19-year-old was signed from Fenerbahce last summer for an estimated €20 million. The youngster’s career has been plagued by frequent injuries, and he has missed 16 matches this season alone due to fitness issues.
As a result, the 19-year-old offensive midfielder is dissatisfied with his current circumstances, raising the possibility of a summer loan move.
So what is Real Madrid’s plan?
It goes without saying that Real Madrid faces the challenge of settling the situation, since the Turkish player and his companions are disillusioned by the club’s unfulfilled promises.
Assurances of a first-team and important role have not realized, prompting dissatisfaction among the youngster. In fact, the issue has grown into a national matter in Turkey, where the player is highly valued.
In an effort to alleviate the tension, Real Madrid is apparently considering a loan transfer for Guler in the coming season, with AC Milan appearing as a possible destination, similar to the successful loan deal with Brahim Diaz.
Talks have already begun
According to reports in Italy, conversations between the two clubs over a potential loan for the next season are underway, subject to the player’s agreement.
To be fair, Milan appears to be a feasible departure option for Guler, while other offers may also be on the table.
Guler, who was hoping for more playing time this season in preparation for the UEFA Euro, is now disappointed.
Real Madrid is aware of the gravity of the situation and recognizes the necessity to treat it cautiously in order to avoid a potential rift between the player and the team.
