Who will the Ravens add to their roster in 2024?
The Baltimore Ravens concluded the 2023-24 season only one win shy of a Super Bowl participation.
Baltimore’s agonizing AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs prompted new concerns about the team’s capacity to win big games.
Those questions will accompany Baltimore into the offseason. However, the Ravens are not letting the disappointment cloud their offseason preparations.
According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the Ravens are looking to improve their squad, particularly at the running back spot.
On Sunday’s SportsCenter, Fowler stated, “They could add a playmaker at running back.” They’re looking at the top running backs available, including Saquon Barkley, D’Andre Swift, and Derrick Henry. They are doing their homework, albeit pricing may be a concern.”
Fowler also reported that someone in the Ravens organization asked, “Could you imagine Saquon Barkley and Lamar Jackson in the same backfield?”
Throughout the 2023-24 season, the Ravens’ running back room resembled a revolving door. JK Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1, while Keaton Mitchell tore his ACL in Week 15.
Baltimore concluded the season with Gus Edwards, Dalvin Cook, and Justice Hill carrying the load at running back. The Ravens are interested in some of the top running backs available in the 2024 free agent class.
