Milan now want to sign 24-year-old ‘versatile’ defender

AC Milan has been linked with Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu, who has also attracted interest from Premier League leaders Liverpool in recent weeks.

According to Türkiye Gazetesi, the Rossoneri have renewed their interest in 24-year-old Kadioglu, who has previously been linked with the club. In addition, he served as a makeweight in the January sale of Rade Krunic.

In addition to Milan and Liverpool, Inter, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with the full-back, so there is plenty of competition to sign him.

He is under contract with Fenerbahce until 2026, and one of his primary selling qualities is that, while he excels on the left, he can also play as a defender on either wing.

Fenerbahce is said to have already signed agreements with another Turkish club to recruit a left-back to replace Kadioglu, implying that a deal may be reached if any of the top teams make a bid.

Liverpool are only expected to make a move for him if either Andy Robertson or Kostas Tsimikas leave the club during the summer transfer window.

Milan are looking for a natural left-back to back up Theo Hernandez, despite the club already has a few players who can play on both wings, like Alex Jimenez, Filippo Terracciano, and Alessandro Florenzi.
