Keon Sabb, a former Michigan Wolverines defensive back, has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, and the Tennessee Volunteers have reached out.
Michigan defensive back Keon Sabb had a good season, helping the Wolverines win their first national championship since 1997. Sabb has 28 tackles, four pass deflections, and two interceptions in his redshirt freshman season. He was supposed to be a key member of their team following season, but as head coach Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL, Sabb used the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Sabb was part of the 2022 recruiting class. He was the No. 96 talent in his recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Sabb received offers from 34 programmes and paid official visits to Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, and Texas A&M. Under head coach Jeremy Pruitt’s guidance, the Vols extended an offer to Sabb.

Sabb has been approached by eighteen colleges since he entered the transfer portal, including Tennessee. The list includes numerous national powers, so there will be fierce rivalry. Tennessee always tries to add elite-level defenders to its secondary, and Sabb meets the bill. He is the second most available prospect in the transfer portal and ranks 57th overall this cycle. Sabb has three seasons of eligibility left.
