AC Milan are interested in signing Real Madrid teenager Arda Guler, and the Spanish club would prefer to have their player join the Rossoneri.
As reported by Sport in Spain, Real Madrid is aware that their player’s development is stalled. He joined at the start of the season following a transfer drama in which Milan expressed strong interest in the Turkish attacker.
He then sustained a significant injury that required around six months of recovery. Now that he is fit, there is no room for him in the starting lineup because Carlo Ancelotti has already chosen his preferred starting eleven.
Tottenham Hotspur and Bayer Leverkusen have expressed interest in taking Guler on loan.
Real Madrid is emphatic that Guler should join a squad where he would earn meaningful minutes, prompting Los Blancos to consider a trade to Milan.
Stefano Pioli frequently uses a 4-2-3-1 configuration, so Guler might play behind the striker. The only difficulty is that he is a Real Madrid player, therefore the loan may be rather pricey.
