According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, P.J. Tucker, a veteran of the Los Angeles Clippers, will remain on the roster for the rest of the season.
The Los Angeles Clippers failed to satisfy the expectations of forward P.J. Tucker, who hoped for a change of scenery at the trade deadline in exchange for an enlarged role.
Tucker, according to reports, will not pursue a buyout and will remain with the Clippers for the remainder of the season.
“Los Angeles Clippers forward PJ Tucker will not request a buyout and will remain with team the duration of season after trade attempts fell short, league sources tell @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport,” Chris Haynes, a reporter for Bleacher Report, tweeted.

Tucker has participated in 12 games for the Clippers this season. He averages 1.2 points per 14.4 minutes in his limited role. His influence is seen in a leadership role, inspiring the team to put out their best effort.
Tucker has experience contributing to championship-caliber clubs, having previously played for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021. Throughout the Bucks’ NBA championship run, the forward averaged 4.3 points and 4.8 rebounds. In his later years of playing, he served as a veteran leader for each squad.
His ambition to win is great, but his deal has probably scared away a lot of contenders. Tucker has two years left on his contract, which is valued approximately $22.5 million.
