Another player connected with Newcastle is Antonio Nusa, who was close to joining Brentford late in the January transfer window but the deal fell through. However, the Club Brugge attacker is anticipated to transfer in the summer, with a number of clubs reportedly keen.

According to Het Nieuwsblad, both Newcastle and Tottenham are interested in a summer deal. Nusa’s Brentford sale was apparently valued at approximately £31 million, including add-ons.
