He was frequently seen on television during home football games, roaring on the Bulldogs. He was often stopping to take photos with fans. Trent “Big Dawg” Woods III is a familiar face at University of Georgia football games.
His relatives told Atlanta News First reporter Adam Murphy that he died on Monday from natural causes. He was just 46.
Woods takes tremendous delight in continuing his family’s tradition of painting a bulldog on his head every Saturday during the football season.
His family requested prayers and stated that they intend to disclose more details regarding his death in the coming days.
