Dominik Szoboszlai missed Liverpool’s Premier League loss to Arsenal, which ended 3-1.
Liverpool is now accessing the degree of Dominik Szoboszlai’s injury.
The midfielder was not in the Reds’ squad for their 3-1 loss to Arsenal. Szoboszlai just returned from a hamstring injury but experienced a relapse, preventing him from participating at the Emirates Stadium.
That is why Szoboszlai was not risked as Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League table was reduced to two points following a crushing defeat in the capital.
Before the game, Klopp told Sky Sports that Dom felt in the same place, or a comparable location, to where he had previously been injured.
“He was alright during the game, but afterward [he felt it] slightly, so we looked into it, and he was no longer able to participate in this game.
“We are unable to take any risks. We have to wait for additional evaluation, but it is evident that he cannot participate today. That’s pretty much it.
Liverpool return to action on Saturday, February 10, when they face Burnley at Anfield. Ibrahima Konate, meanwhile, will miss the game due to a ban after being sent off against Arsenal for two bookable offences.
