Bryan Gil should probably depart Tottenham before the transfer deadline.
While the Spaniard is thought to be eager to battle for a place in the Tottenham team, the reality is that the winger’s chances of doing so are unlikely.
Indeed, despite giving his best at Tottenham, Gil is way down the pecking order, with Timo Werner, Heung-Min Son, Manor Solomon, Brennan Johnson, and possibly even Ryan Sessegnon ahead of him on that left wing.
Ben Jacobs has been debating Gil’s future on Last Word on Spurs, and he has stated that there is a possibility of late Premier League interest in the midfielder, with Burnley being a team to monitor in this race.

Jacobs revealed what he knew about the £22 million man.
“With Gil, there is a willingness to listen to offers; Fenerbahce is interested, so another Turkish move; nothing has advanced with Lazio.” There are various possibilities, but nothing advanced regarding Lazio. There are some reports from sources that there may be some late Premier League interest; I’d keep an eye on Burnley,” Jacobs added.
Interesting move
This would be a really interesting move by Gil.
The winger has always appeared to be too weak for the Premier League, but he could fit in well with Vincent Kompany’s side, which depends on technical ability rather than physical force.
Gil is a gifted player, and he might stretch his wings at Burnley if he is given a consistent run in the Premier League.
The Clarets must make something happen if they are to stay in the Premier League this season, and a guy like Gil is certainly worth a bet at this time.
