According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich may decide against signing Nordi Mukiele or Kieran Trippier.
Internally, Bayern are unwilling to overspend on both right-backs due to PSG and Newcastle United’s current high demands.
There have been recent conversations with PSG, but no progress has been achieved. Similarly, Newcastle have rejected a proposal from Bayern, with the Bundesliga club apparently willing to withdraw from discussions entirely.
Though it has not been confirmed, Bayern Munich is considering not signing any right-backs this winter in order to save money for the summer.
With the likes of Kim Min-jae and Noussair Mazraoui returning shortly, the club may believe they have enough defensive cover to last them.
